MISSION OUT IS AN UNSUPERVISED PLAY PARK
- Mission Out is designed to challenge children between the ages of 6 and 14.
- Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children under the age of 6 may not be able to take part in all activities for safety reasons or
restrictions. Activities are not suitable for children under 3. - Children from 120 to 129cm tall will need to be accompanied on The High Ropes.
- For your safety, there are strict height and weight restrictions on some of our activities.
We recommend you book online in advance to guarantee your entry. If you arrive without a booking
and there is availability, we will do our best to book you into Mission Out.
On arrival, all members of your group will need to read, sign and agree to our safety information and
acknowledgement of risk before entry is permitted.
Yes, group bookings can be made. Please contact our team to discuss your requirements.
Mission Out will remain open if it rains but may need to temporarily close some activities until the
rain/bad weather passes and equipment has been checked and dried. If The High Rope, High Tower
Jump Pillow or Adventure Golf remain closed for more than 2 hours, we will issue visitors a 50%
discount voucher for their next visit.
If we experience severe adverse weather such as snow, ice, thunderstorms or very strong winds, we
may take the decision to close the park for safety and will issue refunds or move bookings to an
alternative available date.
Please come dressed and prepared for all weathers!
Mission Out is an outdoor attraction and the weather in Yorkshire can change during your visit.
We recommend weather appropriate clothing and some of the higher equipment in the park will be
more exposed to the elements.
Practical shoes, boots or trainers, which can’t easily fall off, should be worn. Please don’t wear
sandals, flipflops high heels or slip-on shoes if taking part in the activities.
We recommend your body, arms and legs are covered to prevent any harness rubbing or friction
burns.
Long hair should be tied back to prevent entanglements.
Please note that all personal items and belongings, brought into the park are at your own risk and
we accept no liability for any loss or damage.
We recommend you don’t bring valuables to Mission Out.
Yes, we offer a choice of food and drinks to keep you refuelled throughout your adventure!
The coffee bar on the ground floor of The Base serves hot and cold drinks, slush, ice cream, pick and
mix and snacks. Pizza Base, located on the first floor, serves your favourite pizzas, salad bowls,
snacks and hot or cold drinks; all to eat in or take out.
The Refuel Hub situated in the centre of the park offers hot food including burgers, fries, chicken
nuggets, hotdogs and a selection of hot and cold drinks.
Located near The High Ropes, The Refuel Station (open at peak times) offer cold drinks, ice creams
and tea or coffee.
Food purchased from our outlets can be eaten in Pizza Base or The Refuel Hub.
Yes, food and drink can be brought into Mission Out and we have plenty of picnic benches outside to
eat at. Your own food or drinks cannot be consumed within our outlets and for safety reasons we do
not permit alcohol, glass, crockery or barbecues in the park.
We are committed to zero waste to landfill through managing our waste streams. To help us protect
our environment, we kindly ask that you recycle your food waste and all food or drink packaging in
the correct waste bins within our park.
If you become separated from your child or anyone in your care, contact a member of our team
straight away.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited anywhere in the park.
We have 600 free parking spaces and 28 easy/disabled access to the centre.
Vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk. We take no responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle
using the car park and no guarantee is given as to the security of guests’ vehicles in the car park or
any contents.
Customers vehicles are not permitted to remain in the carpark after Mission Out or the garden
centre closes and the gates are locked.
We have 55 electric vehicle charging points including 2 rapid charge units.
We are wheelchair accessible throughout Mission Out and have suitable washroom facilities and a
lift available to access Pizza Base.
From September, situated in the main Garden Centre, we’ll have a “Changing Place” facility
equipped with hoist, fixed height adjustable changing table and height adjustable wash basin.
Visitors are welcome to visit Mission Out prior to making a booking to discuss requirements.
Our team at Mission Out are not medically qualified, therefore not in a position to assess the
capability of our visitors to use the equipment. It is the visitor’s responsibility to undertake such an
assessment before taking part in any activities.
We advise you to visit Mission Out prior to booking to undertake your own risk assessment.
Pets or animals of any nature are not permitted in Mission Out except for guide dogs, hearing dogs
and registered assistance dogs.
No animal should be left in any vehicle parked at the centre. We will contact relevant authorities in
relation to any animals that are left unsupervised or that are found to be in distress.
For health and safety reasons, wheelchairs, prams and strollers are the only transport device
permitted in Mission Out. Bicycles, roller-blades, skateboards or similar devices are not permitted
within the park.
Strictly no ball games at Mission Out.
On entry to Mission Out, your hand will be stamped. This will allow you to return within the same
day if leaving the site, visiting the Garden Centre or Grass Hoppers.
Proof of booking may be required on your return.
If you require a First Aider, speak to any member of our team who will arrange this for you. We are
required to log details of all accidents and incidents and will require some information from you to
complete the relevant forms.
If you notice any damages, spillages or sick, wee, poo or blood, please let a member of our team
know straight away.
To minimise the risk of contracting the Covid-19 virus, it is in the interest of everyone visiting
Mission Out to comply with the latest Covid Government guidelines.
We will continue to have sanitising stations around the park and in our catering/retail outlets and
encourage all visitors to sanitise on arrival.
All our facilities and equipment will be cleaned and sanitised each day.
